Product Description
The I2C Interface Module (also known as LCD I2C Backpack) allows standard 16×2 and 20×4 character LCD displays to communicate using the I2C protocol. This significantly reduces the number of required pins—from 6–8 pins down to just 2 wires (SDA & SCL).
Based on the PCF8574 I/O expander, this module is widely used with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It features an onboard potentiometer for contrast adjustment and supports easy plug-and-play operation.
